The reboot series should have use a 4 minute version of this instead of what they used.

Fun fact: Just because a Temple Guard inhabits a room does not mean that a player is automatically captured for entering the protected room. In The Dark Forest, for instance, a Temple Guard would inhabit one of the trees, but could only capture the player if they come within reach of the Temple Guard, I.E if the player approaches the tree they are inhabiting. If they retrieve the key from the correct tree and, by proxy, avoid the second tree as they make their way to the door, the Temple Guard cannot capture them and the player escapes unhindered. Similarly, in the Tomb of the Ancient Warriors, if the player selects the right sarcophagus to pull the levers to open the way forward, they can escape that room unhindered too. The Temple Guard can only "capture" the player if they enter the sarcophagus the Temple Guard is specifically inhabiting.

This challenge begins with 8 ping pong balls loaded inside an empty tissue box attached to the waist directly above the gluteus maximus by jumping, shaking, bending, wiggling, and even contorting, the contestant must get all eight balls to exit the box. NO HANDS ALLOWED.

Next stop is the Pit of the Pendulum." Louise: (yells a la Tarzan as she swings into the column) Kat: "Yeah, down goes the column! Now, which door opened? Looks like she's headed to the Tomb of the Headless Kings." Louise: (signals the location of the other half pendant) Kat: "She's gotta pull the vines to find the skull. That's one. That's...there's the head. I see it. I see it. She does too. Now, which king does it belong to?" Headless King 2: "I'm alive!" Louise: (a la Frankenstein) "It's aliiiiiiiive!" Kat: "There we go. Now, she's heading up to the Chamber of the Sacred Markers. She's gotta match the symbols on each side. She's got plenty of time to do just that. She's making good time. She's smart, she's fast, and she's--" (GRRRAAAAH!!! DRAMATIC DRUM STABS) "AAH! TEMPLE GUARD!" Louise: "AH! (punches at the Temple Guard, then laughs in embarrassment as she gives her pendant) "Sorry." Kat: "That scared me. That scared me too, but there's no time for that. She's gotta head up to the Altar and find the right sacrifice. But which one? The meat, the fruit basket, or the gold statue?" TJ: "It's not the meat. Try the next one." Kat: "Oh, it'd have to be the basket. Now, she's heading into the King's Storeroom. She's gotta find the key in one of those..." (laughs at Louise breaking the pots with her head) "Well, whatever works. And there's the key. Now, which of those keyholes opens the door? Oh, it'd have to be the third one. And, now, she's in the Shrine of the Silver Monkey. She has to get the--" (GRRRAAAAH!!! DRAMATIC DRUM STABS) "TEMPLE GUARD!" Louise: "AAAH! I DON'T WANNA LEAVE!" TJ: "Go, Akio!" (Akio rockets into the temple) "Go!" Kat: "And go, he does. He's racing into temple, through the Crypt, diving headfirst into the Pit of the Pendulum, and... (Akio grabs the other half pendant) he's got the other half pendant! That's gonna help him. Now, he's gotta get from the Tomb of the Headless Kings to the Altar, and wow, look at him go! Just jumping up the ladders!" TJ: "Put this kid on American Ninja Warrior when he grows up!" Kat: "No time for that, TJ. He's still got the temple to clear. He's through the King's Storeroom, and now, in the Shrine of the Silver Monkey. Just one room away from the Twin Swords of Miyamoto Musashi, and he's jumping around and putting that statue together no problem. He's gotta jam the head down...and he does! He's in the Room of the Secret Password, and he's got the swords!" TJ: "That's it! All the doors are open, all the guards are gone, and Akio's racing out like his hair's on fire!" Kat: "Past the Altar, through the Pit, and then right back through the Crypt. I think we're gonna see a record broken, TJ, and..." (Akio crosses the line and crash lands at the base of the temple steps; cue "VICTORY!!") "HE DID IT! HE BROKE THE RECORD! HE BROKE THE RECORD!!!" TJ: (helps an exhausted Akio to his feet) "What a finish! What a run by the Green Monkeys! They got the backpacks! They got the N64! They're going to Rio de Janeiro!" Kat: "Yeah! I love this team! A strong team, a fun team to watch, and oh, my, I'm out of breath. I don't wanna go, but we gotta, so join us again for more great adventures, more games, and more..." Louise: "LEGENDS OF THE HIDDEN TEMPLE!" TJ: "Yeah, what she said. Bye-bye!"
